Graduation research

TamperLog.

My graduation project: a prototype for detecting changes to audit logs.

CryptographyPythonFlask

Why I made it

An audit log is only useful if you can trust it. I wanted to explore how to detect changes to earlier records instead of relying on the log server alone.

What I built

I built a prototype that links log entries with SHA-256 hashes and checks them against distributed checkpoints. It combines a Flask backend with a JavaScript interface and explores threshold signatures for checkpoint verification.

What I learned

The interesting part was the trust model: what gets detected, who can verify a checkpoint, and what happens when one component is no longer trustworthy.
